The
TYMCO Model DST-4, mid-sized, DUSTLESS
sweeper utilizes the same state-of-the-art
technology as TYMCO’s proven
DST-6. The DST-4 removes dirt, dust
and debris from the sweeping surface,
and cleans the exhausted air to 99.999%
of 0.5 Micron size particles, far exceeding
PM 10 requirements. TYMCO’s patented
filtration system enables the DST-4
to be equally efficient in wet or dry
conditions, so you don’t have
to add to the problems of meeting the
EPA’s PM 10 requirements by avoiding
puddles and leaving debris behind.
Mounted on a highly maneuverable cabover “standard
truck chassis,” the DST-4 can
travel to the job site at legal speed
limits and then perform the dustless
cleaning required in both Industrial
and Municipal applications. The DST-4’s
low profile allows the sweeper to
clean in those hard to reach areas.
The DUSTLESS
features are engineered to allow
the sweeper to perform in all types
of
weather conditions with no operator
adjustments required.

floating pick-up head provides a wide sweeping
path, maintaining contact with the sweeping
surface with no operator adjustment Dual
36 inch diameter wire filled digger style
gutter brooms can increase the DST-4's
sweeping width to 114 inches, making short
work of accumulated dirt and debris along
curbs, walls and gutters
A large 4.0 cubic yard, heavy duty steel
hopper increases sweeping time and the
72 inch dump height enables dumping into
various size containers
The large hydraulically operated dump door
allows for easy discharge and cleaning.
A unique drop down, pivoting hopper screen
for easy ground level cleaning.
A hopper deluge system is also provided
for easy cleaning.
Locking streamlined side panels swing open
for easy access to the auxiliary engine
and blower housing.
Dual polyethylene water storage tanks allow
for a 76 gallon water capacity.

Control Console
Lighted control console.
This control console utilizes lighted
paddle type switches. Each switch has
a lighted ledger window describing its
function in relation to the operation
of the sweeper. As standard equipment,
the panel includes auxiliary engine tachometer,
volt meter, hour meter, and low water
warning system. The panel is hinged for
easy service access.
Hydraulic Pump/Reservoir
TYMCO's powerful
double groove V belt hydraulic pump allows
the Model DST-4 to operate dual gutter
brooms simultaneously in heavy sweeping
conditions. The Model DST-4's large hydraulic
reservoir helps the hydraulic system
remain cooler during operation even in
the most severe operating conditions.
